The Wedding Party

Maid of Honor – Macy Egerman

Sisters. Teammates. Partners in Crime.
Diddle-Daddle Macy and Bossy Boots Elysse were inseparable as little girls. Thanks to Grandma Egerman they had matching dresses and quilted jackets to wear to the park. Macy looked up to her older sis. At the YMCA after school, she loved to compete with the older kids and fine tune her craft. They bunked together when Macy was too young to attend Y camp in McCall. As is camp tradition, we were routinely thrown in the lake because we received “care packages” from Mom. In high school, as Lady Braves, they won a state basketball title together training and competing as teammates. Macy has always been a driven and fierce competitor challenging Elysse to do her best. She is supportive, caring, and thoughtful.

Bridesmaid Cambry Leahy

Cousins. Creative Book Nerds. Dog Moms.
Around 1994 you could find Cambry, Elysse, and Macy passing time playing dress up at Aunt Jenny’s. Cambry reconnected the cousins through social media while in college. Cambry eventually moved to Portland where she and Elysse are able to see each other much more regularly. In Portland Cambry has met the love of her life, explores the Pacific NW, practices her amazing photography, and established a network of amazing women. Elysse was honored to stand by her as a bridesmaid when she wed Sean. Cambry started a Bookclub and recruited Elysse to join. The girls love how well the boys get along and hope to see many Sean-John Dance Battles at the reception. Cambry and Elysse have had the opportunity to commiserate and celebrate each other’s lives together over the years.

Best Man – Benjamin Clark

Benjamin is John’s younger brother – and they have known each other as long as either can remember. Only two years apart, they got to spend their formative years doing anything and everything together, which naturally led to competition. Basketball, Football, Video games, sledding, summer camp, tennis camp… you name it. As they got older, the competitive fire began to turn into appreciation for each others gifts. Ben is an incredibly talented musician… and John tries hard. Naturally, the two formed a band together in their college days, while they were both living in Flagstaff, Arizona. They spent time living together in Colorado, and now both live in the Pacific Northwest. Even though they still know how to push each others buttons, they love each other like only two brothers, only two years apart can.

Groomsmen – Charles Clark

Charles is John’s older brother. As long as John can remember, he looked up to and wanted to be just like ‘Chuck’. Chuck always wanted a younger brother, and John was the first to arrive. Chuck taught John everything he knows about football, history, politics, how to win at Risk, and beyond. His adventurous pension knows no bounds – from hiking the Pacific Crest Trail, to meeting his beautiful wife, Jess, while studying abroad in New Zealand, to he and Jess embarking on a two year commitment with the Peace Corps in Africa. Chuck always found ways to bring John along; taking him on his first road trip, teaching him sports, and generally including him in his friend group. You may spot them arguing politics, religion, or sports over the weekend, which is their favorite way to express brotherly love.
